AP Exams Are Right Around the Corner

High school students who are taking AP classes are getting ready to take their exams in May.  I like to have resources available for our students to use for studying besides their class content.  One of the pages on my media center webpage contains testing information on the ACT, SAT, ASVAB and AP exams.

This information includes links to official sites, print and ebooks we have available and practice test sites.  We have print books available for checkout and also in our Gale Virtual Reference Library we have a series of books on Preparing for the AP Exam which cover math, history, psychology and science topics. They are published by Course Technology PTR.

We are also fortunate that our students have access to the Learning Express Library that our public library has in its collection.  Our students can use their digital access cards to use this program. The College Prep Center contains 2 practice exams for each subject and ebooks for AP Biology and AP US History.  It also has ACT and SAT practice tests and ebooks.  Here are some more resources to consider:

  1. Thank you, I will share with my kids :)

  2. Hi,

My name is Heather – it’s nice to meet you! I noticed you’ve included some great study help resources on your “Free Online Resources” page (https://knowledgequest.aasl.org/ap-exams-right-around-corner/
) for standardized test prep and I wanted to suggest another useful and free service.

With Chegg Test Prep, students can get instant access to hundreds of expert SAT, ACT, and GRE test prep guides. One of our most popular guides to date is our top 50 strategies for SAT test day article. And we’re only getting started!

We know how stressful testing can be for students. With our free test prep resources, we aim to support students (particularly of low-income families) and help relieve some of that stress.

It would be great if you could include a link to Chegg Test Prep since I imagine your visitors would enjoy having access to free standardized test prep resources, tips, and lessons.

You can learn more about us here:

    SAT Test Prep: http://www.chegg.com/test-prep/sat
    ACT Test Prep: http://www.chegg.com/test-prep/act

Let me know if you have any questions—I’d be happy to answer them.

    Thanks!
