Utah librarians are excited to welcome AASL and librarians from across the country to our beautiful state! I know it will be hard to tear your eyes away from the beautiful mountains that surround us but hopefully you will join us for Dinner with a Local Librarian. It’s the perfect time to network with other school librarians from across the country and talk about your programs. You never know what ideas you may get to take back to your schools.
We have so many great restaurants within walking distance of the Salt Palace. There is something for everyone from brewing companies like Red Rock Brewing Company and Squatters, to vegan at Zests as well as old favorites such as the Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Changs.
Utah has an amazing group of authors that live here, and we are excited that each group will have an author or two to visit with, including Newbery Award winner Christen Heidiker, Jennifer Nielsen, Jessica Day George, Makenzie Lee, and Frank Cole to name a few.
You can sign up for the restaurant of your choice on Wednesday afternoon at the registration tables.

Hi! Is there any way to sign up other than at the registration tables? I would love to do dinner, but concerned I may not arrive early enough before all slots are full.
