April is School Library Month and this year’s theme, Your School Library Where Learning Never Ends, once again gives us opportunity to highlight and showcase how our school library media and instructional technology programs impact student achievement.
How will you publicize and market the activities and lessons that you have planned this month? Will you send emails to your staff, submit articles to your PTA and produce your own newsletter and fliers? Will you tweet your plans with the hashtag #slm15? Will you upload videos featuring inquiry and research, makerspaces and PBLs, and booktalks and literature circles to YouTube? Will you invite your administration, your parents, and your school board members to participate in your programs?
How will you showcase your library media program during School Library Month?
