We are so excited that the AASL 17th National Conference is here in Columbus, Ohio. We are Cbus and Ohio proud! In recent weeks we’ve blogged and you’ve read about the many exciting things to see and do in Cbus. Buckeyes are also Author Proud! For a state of 11.59 million, Ohio is proud of its rich literary tradition and as your Local Arrangements Co-chairs, we would like to share some of that tradition with our guests from across the country. As avid readers you are no doubt familiar with these authors, but if not, this is the perfect opportunity to meet, remember, and enjoy these great authors who hail from Ohio!! We are have a special signing table and times just for these Ohio authors. They should have books available at the conference bookstore, but if not, we can happily tell you about a local independent children’s bookstore located in historic Clintonville (Columbus) where you can find them, and even more Ohio authors’ books!
